Oil feed/return pipes
« on: 07 January, 2018, 09:39:00 »
Hi guys
I would like to fit some shiny new armoured oil pipes to my B31 plunger; but all those offered for sale have a 90degree elbow union on one end; the fittings both into the crankcase and from the oil tank are obviously straight...  am I missing something ?

The armoured pipes fit swinging arm models only. The plungers used rubber pipes joining the brass pipes at either end. Parts 17 and 26 on the below photo from parts book.

Thanks for that Julian- it seems that the stainless pipes for sale simply specify either over or under gearbox routing with a generic B group listing but clearly as your explanation suggests they only actually apply to the swinging arm model

thanks
