B31 front brake nut

Hi Guys,
I have a 1953 b31 plunger, struggling to get the big nut that holds the brake plate off is it left hand or normal?
It's part number 65 5893 if that helps

It is normal right hand thread.
I find that you need to have to have the brake applied (I use old fork stanchion over the lever and my foot) and use tight fitting socket and shock the nut undone.  I had this recently and if you don't shock it the inner sleeve and opposite nut on the end just spin.
