Have a C15g 1967 and would love to know if anyone know how to get me thw orignal colors from engine and frame numbers.

C15G-1568

It has been painted but i think the dark green frame color is correct. The rest comes up at paint shop as a VW color.

Kind thanks in adv and if some would have a picture then wowww.

As far as the information I have to hand states, the C15G model had a black frame and forks and swinging arm. Colours available for Tank, sidepanels, and mudguards was Royal Red or Sapphire (aka Nutley?) Blue. Brake hubs and cover plates were silver sheen with cover plate outer edge polished. Optional for the petrol tank was chromed sides. HTH

Hi,

Was the C15G ever used for military or Home Office service.  Perhaps as green frame?

Dave.

B40 for definite Dave, but perhaps someone with more knowledge could add to this?

Hi WobblyBoot,

What colour is the rest of it and can you post a photo?

Dave.

The despatch books show the Home office bought a batch of C15Gs in 1967, they were finished
in "deep bronze green".
