OIF forks onto Starfire frame ?

Any easy way to attach an OIF front end to a 1970 Starfire frame ?
Obviously it's possible but I'd rather not spend a fortune on machining bits if it can be avoided.

Simplest way is to keep the original cup & cone headstock bearings from the starfire and turn a couple of thin flange top-hat spacers to reduce the i/d of the cones to suit the yoke stem. The spacer in the bottom cone will need to be counterbored to clear the bottom yoke spigot around the stem. Otherwise everything else should fit easily.

Just remembered, top bearing dust cover may need a one-off making.
