BSA Blu Star
« on: 12 November, 2017, 11:45:13 »
Hello friends, I am in Italy and I have a BSA Blu Star. I dont have a battery mounting for this bike and I don't know even which shape has it. I am wondering if somebody can send me some pictures of  the battery mounting and the sizes, so I can reproduce it. Thank you Guido

Hi Guido,

It would be helpful to know what year your Blue Star is. I have made reproductions of the later Blue Star type battery carriers.

Kind regards,

Trying to collect all 1936 models. Still missing B3, R17 and Y13.

Guido,

Your bike is a 1934 model. Is it a 350 or 500cc?

I have had reproduction battery carriers made for this model. You need a Lucas T battery for this carrier. There are copies available, where you can fit a small modern battery inside.

Kind regards,

it is a 500cc.
I saw on ebay for sale BSA Blue Star Transfers Set of Decals B3, B33-3 and R5. Do you know the difference?

I don't know what a  PM  is.
Attached you see a battery mounting that I found here.
I need also a speedo cable, a metal plate on the front fender, an original ammeter, an original horn switch and 2 rubbers on the tank sides
Thank you for your advice
Guido
