Myself and my partner Liz just spent two weeks down East Sussex way seeing her family and taking in the sights. The usual touristy places were visited such as Brighton.

Also took a trip and paid a visit to Sammy Millers place, great place if you've never been, and a great place even if you have. Next day took a trip up and visited with Dave Willmer and wife Lynn for a short while.

Then on May 15th took a little drive over to Chidderingly to attend the East Sussex BSAOC meeting at the 6 Bells. Met a few of the Club members such as Chippy Ruff and others as well as Peter Allum and had a good time there. Next day Derek and Club member who lives about a 5 minute walk from where we were staying came by and dropped off a BSA buff and a Club patch for me. Cheers on that.

Out of curiosity, is there a Branch in Hastings/ As were driving towards the pier from the West I saw a big BSA banner on a wall near one of the hotels. Something to remember for the future.

All in all a good time and good grub as well.
