Hi all need a little advice am about to fit new fuel taps to my tank as I am using 1/4 x1/4 taps and 3/8 to 1/4 adaptors and was wondering the best way to ensure a good seal. would PTFE tape be adequate or is it unstable with petrol . thanks in anticipation Ian

I find using PTFE tape is ideal to put on on a tap thread in a taper, so that you when tightening-up the tap , you can get the tap into the position you want and not where the washer dictates. Griff
