Leaving aside the choice of wiring colours, 'cos no two official wiring diagrams agree...

I don't think one of those crimp on connectors is made off properly. Both the inner core and the outer insulation should be crimped, not just the inner and certainly not with one of those useless pressed steel "tools" that cost about £6 and never make a sound joint. These red/blue/yellow crimps aren't the best thing to use anyway. The green wire that goes into the switch is frayed and looks like it will break soon. The inner core is visible on a blue crimp near top left, and there's a bit of what looks like VIR (Vulcanised India Rubber) cable going into the switch; VIR cable insulation falls off if it gets wet or hot; not good.

Er... can you tell I was an electrician?

Hi, thanks Rog!
I will rebuild installation from scratch. I have seen diagram in manual. No rocket science there .
I'm telecom engineer....and when I started it was a lot about wires ...not like today wireless.

Stay tuned this is not the end. I will have look what is going on under cylinder head soon

I have removed short circuit on tail lamp.
Both tail and head lamp were fitted 12V LED bulbs!
Prepared with grinder!  H4 I think...

Hello, be patient! Forth play at the begining.
Here comes head lamp...you are missing lock springs? Use silicone it is you best friend!

Ammeter can be expensive! Mock-up by cracking open and short-circuiting with copper wire!
Vibrations will make pointer run all over the place....same as it is working..

You might have problem with charging in your BSA, right?
Make sure Dyno is rotating with engine rolling, right?
And if Dyno is dead....no rotation of commutator?
Check if all gears are there!!
