I have one on the front of my A7 and I'm pleased with it, unlike so much Indian/Taiwan/Chinese rubbish I've bought over the years.
It's heavier than the original and there's a piece of welding spatter rattling around inside (!) it, but overall it's OK.
Now, the  repro (Indian) girder forks my mate bought a couple of years back should be used as a lesson in how to make criminally-unsafe motorcycle components.

Another item i got from India is a petrol tank ( b40 in blue ). Lovely chrome and lovely paint, although the paint is not petrol proof. I am going to give it a coat of petrol proof laquer. The petrol cap will not fit on and i am going to have to fetel the neck with a grinding stone in the dremal drill.         V500.  I think we would all like to see that mudgaud fitted to your bike. Any chance of a photo.

I'm sure I have some pics somewhere on this PC, but to be fair it looks like any/every other 1951 A7. It's the slimmer non-valanced type, chosen as the later (and A10) valanced guards look too heavy for me.
