Its a bit late in my career to be asking this but: -
After us 8)e how should you leave your torque wrench. 1. Under spring pressure 2. All pressure released 3.As you used it.
I have no idea.

wound back down. take to lowest reading, not any lower as they can come apart.
if you leave it tensioned , it can set the spring
