« on: 29 March, 2023, 07:16:23 »
Which side is the main and reserve taps? Is there any way to check without dismantling?
Cheers

According to the User Manual, the RH tap is for normal use and the LF tap is the reserve. I can also see from the parts book that one tap is normal (83-2800) and the other fitted with a reserve tube (83-2801). I would have thought, logically, that the reserve tap should be fitted on the RHS and the normal tap should be fitted on the LHS???

In answer to your question, the 2 types of tap will probably look the same externally and the only way to tell which is which without taking them off to see which is fitted with a reserve tube is by draining the tank through both at the same time and seeing which one runs dry first!
