Old Club House.
« on: 10 January, 2023, 12:06:20 »
I have just rejoined the BSA Owners Club after many, many years off the bikes, as a matter of interest,
the last time I was a member we used to meet in a pub in Huyton, Liverpool in the 60'S. Anyone remember?

Hi,

When I joined the BSAOC in the mid '70s the nearest Branch was Warrington.  The meeting place was The Walton Arms, Higher Walton.  Members living in Liverpool made the weekly pilgrimage.  Did you ever get there?

Dave.

Dave, I don't have a good track record with clubs I am afraid, in the early 60's I had a DBD34 Goldie and a couple of us
joined the BSA Club as I said, come to think of it, it may have been the Hare & Hounds in Huyton, Liverpool.
I sold my Road Rocket in the early 70's, and stopped riding bikes in 75/76, last bike was a 5TA Triumph.
I have just bought a Bantam which needs a total restoration, picture attached.

Hi,

Check in The Star for the latest meeting place.  I haven't lived in Liverpool since 1986 and currently live in North Lincs. so we are unlikely to meet up there.  But you never know at a BSAOC event in a field somewhere.

Dave.
