One or two I know like th new bike but baulk at the eight and a half price as they recon is what oyu have to commit too. Buying the bike and 3 services by a BSA dealer or no warranty... For me the jury is still out and on a test ride next week...
Safe riding saves pinch marks on the seat...

At the NEC Classic show, I met an old mate (from my days working in Europe), who is a Senior Design Engineer with a major bike company & is based in Japan. He had seen the pre-production launch at NEC & saw us riding them at Brooklands. Anyway, his comment from his employers was that if the new Gold Star was wearing their logo it would be a £10k bike.

Although a price of around £6,500 was originally mooted, I can see the red ones being advertised now at £7,100 OTR. This is still considerable less than the current value of my 6 year old Triumph and so must be good value for money in anyone's books?

Green is the cheapest, £6500 All models plus £300 OTR fees. Legacy is £6800 so £7100 OTR

just for reference to the 'Admiral' being a dip stick.... He spent the Thursday evening of the NEC show crawling round the stand floor sniffing the R40 my C15  trials bike had generously left as a calling card... I do believe he was selling the paper tissues (used to mop up) as R40 scented pieces... Ah well ! !

Laugh all you like mate, I got £3 per sheet of that R infested kitchen roll (nicked from Phil). I told Hipsters they are great air fresheners for an authentic shed & if they kept them they are great on the BBQ & make cheap burgers taste so much better
