Hi All..
Is twin pack adhesive eg Araldite toxic.

Is Filler eg P38 toxic.

I dont think so but I should be pleased to hear your opinions.

I suppose it is when wet. It is certainly safe when set. I once Araldited my dentures together when I broke them on holiday. I am still here years later.

Most of these 2-part adhesives or fillers are toxic to a lessor or greater extent. If you want to scare yourself, read the Safety Data Sheets for them!

As others have said. Plus when sanding P38 or similar, always wear a dust mask and eye protection as the dust is harmful and can enter via the tear ducts when using fine sanding paper.
To really scare yourself check out all the things that California classes as toxic

We're far too callused to it here in CA, at this point. Are we the strictest, by far? Yup.....but it also made us on the forefront of work-arounds. My BSA B25 gas tank is a perfect example. The company couldn't ship my metal tank to me from their home state due to an agreement with CA....but they had a warehouse in a different state that could! It's how ya play the game.
