replacing bush 65-2417 to timing gear plate

Any advice please on the best way to fit a new bush 65-2417 to the timing plate, 66-2008 from a B31.

Hi,
    Fit the bush, drill through the existing holes in the plate through the flange of the bush, countersink the holes. Use some mild steel rod as rivets, rivet it in place. Using an expandable reamer, ream until a snug fit on the journal and the crank turns freely.
