Historic BSA dealer information (needed)
« on: 31 May, 2022, 11:46:58 »
My Dad bought a new B31 in 1949, I believe from a dealer in the Liverpool area named Sargent. It's Dad's 95th birthday this year, and I'm trying to put together a 'memory pack' for him. Starting with a 1948 B31 (which I'll keep as he can't actually ride any more) - I couldn't get hold of a 1949 in the correct format.

Does anyone have any information about the dealer?

Thanks
Chris

Hi,

I think it was Bob Sargeants of Moorfields.  They also sold Reliants and I remember walking down from school to see the new Bond Bug.  I found it a bit cramped and the steering wheel support stuck in my knee.

Dave.
