Northern Ireland members
« on: 30 April, 2022, 20:26:44 »
Hi, new member here, finally got my wish of owning a BSA. Only took 45 years.....
So now the proud owner of a B44, in lovely nick, but with enough small jobs to keep me going for a while.

I received my membership pack today (thanks Rob & Diane), and I notice there isn't a branch in Northern Ireland. Are there many members over here? I'm near Trillick.

Hi Chris,

Welcome to BSA ownership and to the BSAOC.  There have been a few posts from members in NI and Ireland so hopefully they will see your post and respond.  Another way is to put a message in The Star and see what response there is.

Dave.

Hi Chris

You'll enjoy your BSA riding around country roads with a smile on your face  :)

Hi Janner, lovely part of the country down there in Co Kerry - a few years back (while I was still living back in England) a few of us came over for a lightning tour down the WAW, taking in Dingle & the Ring of Kerry before heading back through Waterford & Dublin. Absolutely spectacular. Think I'd need to trailer the BSA down there, it's over 200 miles, but my OH wouldn't need an excuse to ride down that way again

I'm planning to take in Tralee and Dingle during my end-to-end run later in the year. I'll be on a BSA.
Dingle was our regular holiday destination a few years ago.

Sounds good Dean and Chris, if down this way would be a pleasure to meet up.

Hi Glenn, we were over in Cookstown a couple of weeks back. Our first return to the Cookstown 100 since Covid, managed to attend (and show the BSA) at the static display on Thursday night, then practice on Friday and race day on Saturday. Fantastic event.

We should meet up, it's only about 45 minutes. McCallion, you're probably even closer to Cookstown than that?

something similar - maybe a bit less but poor roads.
