Bsa b1 1933 first bike need help

Hi I got my first bike a bsa b1 1933 but the problem I have is the kick start return spring is broken I have purchased 2 so far and there too big the plate the spring goes in is around 2 and a half inches thanks for your help just desperate to get out on the bike kind regards

It's a bit late, but you need spring 27-4170. Try Cornucopia in Germany. In the meantime, you could tie a bungee strap around the kickstart lever.
