Paint details 1933 Blue Star 350

Hi all - newly registered here . My name is Richard - I am in the USA , Norton owner and member of the UK based Norton Owners Club . I am about to embark on constructing a 1/9 scale model of the 1933 350 cc Blue Star. This is a newly released kit by Model Factory Hiro of Japan. These are very detailed beautiful multi media kits , largely white metal and resin.
 I have received a very quick and helpful reply from your secretary Phil but I have some further questions regarding paint details for the wheels in particular. The adverts included in Phil’s response indicate chrome rims with black painted centers . Can anyone tell me if there would be coach lining between painted centers and chrome ? If so , I presume gold as on tank panels ?
Would spokes /nipples be black paint or natural ( galvanized?) metal ?
Hubs / brake drums / backing plates black paint as well ?

Hi Richard,

Welcome to the Forum.
I know that a some people on this Forum can help with your question but they may not have noticed you post yet.  Please be patient.
I have had a look at this model and it looks quite impressive and a challenge to assemble.  Please keep us up to date with the build.

Yes gold coach lines between the chrome and the black centres. Deep Brunswick green panels lined in gold. Spoke nipples were nickel plated. Spokes galvanized steel. Front brake plate chrome rim and black centres, rear brake plate all black.

I have been try to ad pics- went by attachments and other options and chose images from my photos but keep getting error message - The message body was left empty . How do I get the images to the message body ?!
