According to the parts book, the female plug is part of the loom.

I bought a pair of the sockets from Feked a while back.

You can buy the female socket separately.

But I don't want see one for quite a while having just spent 2 days trying to work out which connector to attach each wire of my home made harness. Found and old harness in the end and copied this and it worked straight off...why didn't I think of this first ::)

It's worth noting the warning from Feked that the latest batch of sockets are to metric spec and therefore the switch prongs might need filing down to fit :o

18 pins to file, very carefully to make sure they fit snugly for a decent contact.  ::) >:(

Had a suggestion of fitting a spade to each wire then heatshrinking it onto the switch. Might try that  but making sure all works before shrinking into place...

I wouldn't have thought heat shrinking a male spade connector on to each prong would produce a reliable connection if that was what was meant. I tried fitting a 4.8 mm female space connector on to prongs of this type of switch (not sure whether it was from Bantam for c15/B40) but the prong was too narrow and too thick. The alternative to using the correct multi-pin female connector would be to solder separate wires on to the prongs and use bullet connectors to connect to the harness. However, that would involve an awful lot of soldering :o
