Pre War Goldstar Replica

Hi Guys,

I have purchased a 1938 pre-war Goldstar replica and I am in need of some help. The bike has a mixture of M20 and KM24 parts. It needs a little work to make it reliable.

I have had to pull the head and on inspection will need to replace some parts. I need to know where I might be able to purchase a set of valves / guides (If I don't make them myself), pushrods and tappets. I had BSA's as young man and my son who has Vincent's got me interested in bikes again.

I would like to know what length the push rods should be and what material the valve seats should be, they are the original screw in type.

Does the BSA club sell spares? I will look to join the club and the fun.

George has not been very well and I have sent him an email and had no response.

Can anyone point me to a supplier of BSA parts in the UK that might have what I am looking for?

Adam Hayward in the US has lots of BSA M24 parts both 1938 and 1939. He is on FB. I don't think he visits this forum.
