Float level on a 930 carburetor
« on: 09 February, 2017, 09:23:51 »
I have a 1963 A65L which is running but I cannot seem to get it to tick over correctly, now I believe someone told me some time back that the float level in the 930 concentric carb is critical so I made up a tube so that I could see what the level was, turned out that the actual level was roughly 1/2" below the joint of the bowl, I think, if my memory serves me right that someone said it should be 1/8" below he joint.
Am I correct in thinking that the later level should be correct and that I should try to adjust it to that sort of measurement?

Thanks Julian, I guess that could be the answer to the problems, hopefully. :)
