BSA B33 Petrol Tank

I have a  1953 B33 which has a poor tank.  It has the small round badges. Does any one know if its the same tank as fitted to A10's / A7's.  I think I may need to get one from India.

Yes exactly the same. I have an Indian one on my B33, mine is very good.

I have reread your message re the year of your B33. It won't have the same tank as an A10, my B33 is a 1955 model. I think the 1953 B33 and A10 is different. I have looked on ebay there is plenty for the B33 on there I guess your one is a plunger. I think the difference in the tanks might be with the underneath of the tanks.

As Idie says, pay attention to the bottom of the tank. On my 1949 B33 plunger, there is an offset recess on the bottom to clear the engine valve rockers. On the tanks shown on eBay sites, the recess appears to go across the complete bottom of the tank, but there appears to be ridges extending down on each side of the tunnel.
Attached is a picture of the bottom of my tank and a picture from the bottom of an eBay tank. Has anyone installed a tank from eBay onto a plunger B33 with a tank bottom as configured in the photo?

The B33 is 1955 model with swinging arm frame( made a typo on original post). I know it is quite deeply recessed underneath. Not sure if its off sett.  I think I need to go to Royal Choppers in India.

My B33 is a 1955 model. The tank that I had bought was listed for an A10 but fits perfectly.

I would recommend royal chopper ive had 2 tanks from them very impressed with them just remember you will have to pay import duty on it around £30.00 you can get a good deal if you haggle with them

 I have a 61 rocket and a 54 b31 ,upside down both are nearly identical, tight side up 9n the bench the
 61 is shallower by about half inch ,very slightly slimmer in girth ,fits the b31 fine,
