4 spring clutch
« on: 10 October, 2021, 06:09:45 »
Iím going to change the 6 spring clutch in my A10 for a 4 spring. There are a few out there and I wanted to ask for views.
The SRM is marketed as a top choice, unfortunately these are out of stock do I wait?
Kidderminster motorcycles advertise that theirís is great and has great reviews (they donít have the roller lift bearing for the pressure plate like SRM but is that essential?)
Then thereís the others BBB etc.
What are peopleís experiences please.

I have just fitted the Kidderminster clutch to my M33. I went for the one with the cast pressure plate, all works a treat.

i went with the kidderminster clutch as i want to get the bike back together, SRM didnt have any idea when they would supply again.

Idie, were you referring to the alloy pressure plate or something different? i have the alloy type that was sent with mine.

Yes mine came with the alloy pressure plate, I should have made it clearer it did look as if it was cast.

A vast improvement over the old six spring. Yet I have had a six spring on my B33 for years that has been brilliant in operation.
