Rigid B31 Rear Sprocket
« on: 28 July, 2021, 17:21:52 »
Hello, does anyone know where I could buy a replacement rear sprocket/brake drum for my 1949 rigid B31? My sprocket is past the point where I would normally have replaced it by now, but I have not been able to find anything that fits. Plenty of people seem to sell the QD drum, but I am sure this won’t fit my bike.

My 1947 Rigid B31 has a fixed sprocket which does not detach, if this is the same on yours then John Hemmings is your man, I can send his number if you need it.

I'm interested in this too. I have a '48 rigid, and require chain and sprockets. Any contacts would be much appreciated. Many thanks. :-)

Hello, Sidewaysid. Sorry for taking so long to reply, I haven’t been on the forum for a few weeks (been busy replacing a busted piston ring in the B31……).  Yes, if you know of a bloke who might have what I am looking for I would be very grateful.
