Roll pins

When fitting roll pins is it correct to drill to stated size or the next size down as if you were going to tap the hole. I simply cant remember. Long time no use.

I think it should be stated size

Hi Mike,
You woke my brain cell up! I was thinking that a tapping size would be way too tight, so  googled it(where would we be without google?), with the following result

So, about 3 thou undersize

Yes I since did the same and came up with: - .003under---exact size and +.oo3. So that about covers any eventuallity.
