The future for Bantams

I sometimes fancy buying a Bantam. but I was wondering: is there much danger of two-strokes falling foul of the green agenda and being made illegal?

I would buy one before it's too late, in a few years time the young ones will frown on us older ones riding and driving a polluting petrol/diesel combustible engine. In this mad world things are moving fast to get rid of anything that's supposedly causing Global warming i.e. cattle this week, next week something else but leave the Chinese to build another coal fired power station. Rant over

Get the oil mix correct and there isn’t much smoking.
Still quite a few 2 stroke machines available because they are simple and cheaper to make and give a good power output for engine size. Lots of garden machinery are 2 strokes.
Also a Bantam is not a screaming 2 stroke from Jap land that only did around 30 to the gallon. You get 80-120 mpg from a Bantam. Have you seen the prices the Jap 2 strokes fetch now?

Yes I used to have a Garelli Tiger Cross, sold it for £25 in 1979 now they're £5K plus.
