After many issues, I now have a bike which seems to have given up its desire to self combust after spitting back and igniting "tickled" fuel and has been a reliable starter and transport for a few weeks now BUT this is only with the air valve a quarter closed. The fuel supply to the carbs is good so I reckon I need to lift the needles a notch or two, would that be right and any tips for getting those fine threaded caps back on with no drama as I am always shitting myself about cross threading them onto the carbs.
