B33 Revs
« on: 16 May, 2021, 11:44:48 »
Could anyone tell me what the standard B33 should rev to, that is to say when it is travelling at its maximum speed, reputed to be
80mph according to period road tests.

The Motor Cycle road test of plunger  model from March 1953 issue  gives 30 mph in top = 1950 rpmand top speed 80 mph.

The Motor Cycle road test of swinging arm model from December 1957 issue gives 30 mph in top = 1940 rpm and top speed 78 mph.
