Peter James do all that as well!
The 'Riding other bikes' is particularly useful as you can 'legally' swop over with your mates during a ride out, (if we ever get chance in the near future).

That is true with the exception that one of the insured bikes has to be greater than 350cc.   I tried to get that feature included when I renewed last time but as my largest motorcycle is 349cc that didn't work ......

Nevertheless, they seem very good to me and I've used them for a couple of years now although, as is often stated, you never know how good your insurance company really is until you come to claim and then renew.

I agree about the NC had an accident in my car first time in nine years. This affected the insurance on the bikes when I came to renew. As you say it's a right con.

Ha, the olde insurance chestnut...
I am in the process of renewing my insurance, 4 bikes and a mix of one modern and the rest older stuff. Presently I am with Lynbrook and have found them pretty good to deal with, breakdown is included as is European travel, also changing a bike to the policy costs nothing.
I have within the last couple of days got a quote from CN and it was extortionate, £650 which is almost twice as much as Lynbrook's. I shall try two mentioned Peter Taylor and Peter James and feedback. I was with Peter James some years ago but cannot recall why I changed. At the end of the day each quote is dealing with different parameters as we all have different requirements. Having said that some (if not all) insurance companies do definitely try it on.

For my B40 I've been with Carole Nash until now but thought I'd shop around, so I phoned Footman James and Peter James (Bennett's) this morning. Both quotes were twenty-odd pounds more expensive than CN. So might stick with CN.   Phil
