I have the original GP for the bike and I spoke with Burlen's about re conditioning it is very worn even from first glance and Burlens priced a replacement that will do the job but is not correct at over a grand and said a correct one is no longer available so that will not be happening
I hit lucky and got mine from a genuine seller on ebay for £360 took a bit of set up and afew different slides  and experimental holes drilled in said slides but i have it almost perfect now . sometimes stalls on tickover but i dont want to try to up the revs from the 800 i have it at now as it may go all wrong .

use these on all my old bikes . They are the smallest available and come with various fittings . makes it easy to change filters as they are all the same .https://www.morgo.co.uk/product-category/morgo-oil-filter-kit/

mine was for the DB500 so only the one . I bought it from Phil Pearson along with a crank and many other rebuild parts . He gave me advice as to fitting . Heat up the old cylinder and push it 10mm out .  Cut off the top of the cylinder and push it out from the top out the bottom  . This is because it is thicker metal at the top end as the bottom is tapered . Reheat the alloy cylinder and press in the cold , not frozen , liner . Keep the pressure on till everything has cooled down . This is because you can get back creep of the cylinder until it is cool . As for fit it was quite a tight fit and did need a press to fit it . All went great needed boring to the supplied piston and has ron perfect ever since .

Made my own . Have it set in the floor so that it is flush . I have an electric pump fitted now and a tidier garage .

Never had a problem with the batteries of the many ducatis ive owned even newer 2020 bikes but this one is a special . 1 of 200 made world wide in 2006 , I believe , for the AMA racing series Homologation . Incredible bike but Batteries take a pasting . probably to small for the task .

I have a lithium starter pack i take with me when i travel on my Ducati 999R . You get one go at starting it on the normal battery and if it fails to fire the lithium is needed . This thing eats batteries , always has , but the lithium starts it every time . Cant recharge lithium from the bike though  must be disconnected immediately after starting .

I made my own starter rollers with two land rover starter motors but don't have any dimensions . only used it on my new build square four .
