I really can't understand what you are trying to achieve these bikes are made to enjoy & not to thrash the arse off them & probably destroy them.

Hi Mike,

To resize a photo I normally right click on the photo then scroll down to open with then select paint, when paint opens in the top left corner select resize then change the 100%to say 25% then rename & save your file to a new folder or folder of your choice you should then be able to post the pictures.

Works for me.

Hello Dave,

I sourced the list from the internet & I think it covers various models as it was titled BSA fasteners.

I just find it quicker to use the find function using the part number to find the required info & then print off  just the parts needed before I visit my supplier, although as you can see not all information is complete.

Hello Roy,

What bike is it & what is the part number?

Attached is a spreadsheet in excel format if you use the find function in excel & type in the part number or tank this may help you & hopefully other members of the forum.

Best Regards Mark

Paint colour
Did BSA issue a paint colour/code for the 1961 Shooting Star (Green)?

Re: Paint colour

I believe that the Shooting Star was painted in polychromatic light green which was BSA paint code /039.

Unfortunately, there isn't a 'paint code' available for this colour which you can use to get a colour match at your local auto paint shop. I've seen a colour match given as Toyota Altair Metallic Green but have no idea how close this is.

If you want the authentic colour then my best advice would be to buy it from RS Paints who have colour samples for most of the BSA bikes and can certainly provide polychromatic light green. Downside is that they tend to be a little expensive!

For someone that chooses to make their own loom & for modifying existing looms I use.

I am fortunate they are quite close to me but they are really good & you can get all the parts to make your own looms.
