You could fit a buzzer as well.

I have geared it down from 18T to 17T and fitted a SRM clutch.

Welcome to the forum.
I used to own a 1966 spitfire in my youth.  :)

I used the third one down - the reserve type - on my A10, did not leak but it was poorly made, the hole in the metal part of tap was not deburred and the hole in rubber seal did not completely line up with the hole in the tap. Problems rectified with fettling but at that price it is hard to complain.

You will need a 1/4BSP to 3/8 BSP adaptor to go in the tank.

Below is what they look like inside.

Thanks for that Julian.
Is this the kind of adapter required ?  https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Bsp-Adaptor-reducer-Male-3-8-to-1-4-Bsp-Female-for-Pneumatics-etc/120806627065?hash=item1c20a2d6f9:g:aboAAMXQfvlSlk8D

I am confused as to which on of these (if any) taps is best to replace my dripping pull on taps.  https://www.feked.com/carbs-fuel/fuel-taps/1-4-taps/

Thanks.
Roy.

Bluing on the exhaust can be removed with Solvol Autosol. It takes a of rubbing but once removed it will not return.   8)

One other decision that I've got to make is what to do with the wheels. The chrome on them has some rusting and the spokes are pretty shabby. Any recommendations welcome.

I am very happy with my stainless rims and spokes.

I have been with Greenflag for many years. I gave them a ring and they said that they would recover my bike, or indeed any vehicle belonging to me or that I was a pasenger in.

It's to allow the fuel to flow up through the tickler and provide an indication of when the carb is starting to flood.
Thanks Thumper.

Why is there a hole drilled through the tickler ?

New rim, new tire, tire soap applied
The tire been removed, re fitted, half inflated, over inflated, levered one way then the other but still I cant get it to run perfectly true.
I am now hoping that a little use will sort it out.
The tire in question is an Avon 3.50 - 19 57L sidecar triple duty.

The trouble that I have had is, truing the tire up on the wheel, (getting the line around the tire to run true on the rim.)
