Hi all

I have a 1990 Talbot Express motorhome 2.5 none turbo Diesel. I had the fuel injector pump reckoned by Swad diesels because it leaked a bit of fuel, so its virtually a new pump. I need a mechanic to time the pump to the engine doing a spill test method on number one piston? so I'm told. Is there anyone on here that could come and do it? I would pay for your time no problem. I have a holiday booked for the 2nd Sept.

Singles / B40 in a D7 frame
11 August, 2023, 17:43:07
Remember this one from last year, well a B40 does fit into a D7 frame with a bit of chopping  :o. Not sure how the finished project will look like i.e. trials, road scrambler etc, but it should be good when I've finished it.

Grade 303 is fine for machining on the lathe, here's one I made earlier.

My two Bantam trials bikes are fine with E10, E10 petrol has been in the tanks for 12 months without any issues.

I bought both 3/16 26tpi & 3/16 32tpi CEI taps to be on the safe side one will defiantly be correct when they turn up. I also have the 2ba tap just in case.

There's quite a few shops selling them (classic bike shop, Feked etc) as 3/16 26tpi, I do also have another brake rod from A D7 Bantam which is 1/4 26tpi CEI.

Hi Julian

I'm just going by this from Feked, I have the brake rod and wanted to make my own adjuster nut which I thought must obviously be 3/16" CEI 26tpi tap but I was told there isn't such a thing and it is 3/16" 32tpi.

Hi all

Is there a 3/16" 26tpi CEI tap available? I see on some sites that there is but others say there isn't, they say it's 3/16" 32tpi.

Ran that one for over five years until I sold it and he still rides it dry with the occasional lubrication 4 years later.

I drained all the oil out of one of my C15's all together, I was fed up with the puddle of oil on the floor. I just lubricated it every now and then, and yes a dry clutch which worked without any issue.
