Sorry. Got mixed up with the thread i was replying to. There was a manufacturer in Holland that made cnc pumps for singles.⁹

With all of the quality problems which seem to be occuring with the wassel pumps why are people not buying tge srm pumps instead. If nothing else they are a fair bit cheaper!

If going for a new concentric the wass⁰el equivalent is good value. I might have a good used amal concentric.

I would recomend an anti wet sump tap which has a switch to isolate the ignition /magneto.

I have had brand new amals with block drillings and swarf. I even had a tickover screw fall out of a brand new monoblock. It was like a sausage up an alley. When i asked if the supplier checked them on a carb body before a run amal just said we only supply a drawing not a body to check it in!!!

Still no joy with central stand. Spindle is likely bent....I mnight be forced to gently cut it out.
Not all filters are the same
Some have valves in them and they dont always release at the correct pressure , many are made to run at car engine pressure which is higher.ý

Morgo and thunder engineering both make small well engineered remote filters.

Use a copper hammer. A normal one will just bounce and not transfer much force through the spindle

Singles / Re: B31 Primary Chain - Semi-liquid grease?

If fitting an anti wet sup valve i would always reccomend a manual tap with a magneto cut out switch. A manual tap cant  stick open/ shut and if switched you cant start the bike until tge oil tap is turned on.

1/4 a pint is about right. It only needs enough for the chain to dip into it and throw the oil around. You can do it by eye if you can see down from the inspection hole.
