I have a box full of those pumps. I am happy to look and see whether I have a usable one in there.

The code is BS381 227. Any paint shop should be able to make that colour.

The pillion foot rest rubbers are available from Jeff Hunter. The pillion foot rest are difficult to find. They are however not difficult to make for a skilled engineer. They also show up on Ebay sometimes. For the kick start stop rubber you can modify an M20 rubber.

Hans,

There is a Czech guy on Ebay, who makes excellent pattern parts.  He uses the name Joseph60.7771. I have bought a few myself and the quality is excellent. I know he makes the toolbox and the rear stand. The clutch levers turns up on Ebay regularly so that shouldn't be too difficult.

Kind regards,
Leon

The Triumph OC used to make brass replicas. Otherwise try the Van Genechten family in Belgium. I think they trade under F and F motorcycles or something similar.

Pre War / Re: B18 mystery brake lever?
« on: 11 December, 2017, 13:12:24 »
Hi Dave,

The serrated part is for a sidecar brake lock. It is a spring loaded device: pull in and lock manually, pull in and it unlocks automatically. It was used on all mid 30s BSA with the combination levers. It isn't particularly useful on a B18 unless you lean it against a wall. ::)

Kind regards,
Leon

all of the above, CEI 20TPI and BA. Typically BSW for threads in alloy, CEI 26 TPI as standard thread, BSF in cylinder, BA for electrical (switches on combination levers (5BA), magneto etc), CEI 20 TPI on footrest rods and bigger studs. :D

Old chrome can be polished with very fine wire wool. it does take the flakes off and brings back some shine (if there is any left) to the remaining chrome.
