Try ClassicBikeShop. I have used them in the past and their parts are of good quality and reasonably priced.
Hope this helps.

Tesco's have got some BSA Golden Flash T shirts in store for 8.00. They are grey with amongst other things a plunger frame Golden Flash in white printed on them.

Just a suggestion, what about Goldstar silencers if you can get them to fit. I have got them on my A10 and they look and sound really good.

Classic Bike Shop seem to have them in stock for 40 plus postage and package. I have used this company in the past without any problems. Hope this helps.

Thank you all for your advice. I agree that an inline fuse should be fitted between the battery and the converter but what amperage fuse would you recomend?

Twins / Fitting an electronic impulse Rev Counter to an A10

Here's a question for you electrically minded boffins out there. I want to fit an electronic Rev Counter to my A10 which has a 6volt positive earth system. Unfortunately the rev counter is 12volt negative earth, however I have managed to source a 6 to 12volt DC step up converter. Having researched the internet for a possible wiring diagram it is suggested that it be wired up as per the diagram below. Can anyone out there confirm that this the correct way to do it and if not suggest the best way forward.
Thanks in anticipation.

I got my non standard A10 clutch and brake cables from a company called Cable Tech in Sutton in Ashfield near Mansfield Nottinghamshire. They were very reasonably priced and work well. Hope this helps.

I had the same problem with my A10. I took the carb off,  stripped it down completely and then cleaned all the components in an ultrasonic bath.If you don't know anybody that you can borrow one from you can buy them from Amazon for 52.99. When clean I rebuilt the carb using a genuine amal refurb gasket set that I sourced on Ebay. I then refitted the carb making sure I used the correct manifold gaskets and the bike fired up first kick. Hope this helps.

Got one. They look o.k. and seem really good value for money.

Just got my 1958 A10 running smoothly so I thought I would post a Photo of it.                                                                                                            However I am no sure I have done this properly.

Twins / A10 Carb
« on: 13 October, 2017, 19:42:48 »
I have just taken the carb off my 1958 A10 Gold Flash  to do a refurb and its stamped 376/15 which I believe is the wrong carb. I understand it should be a 376/17. Can anybody please tell me what effect the 376/15 will have on the way the Bike runs if I put it back on.
Thanks in anticipation.

How do you remove the steering lock from an A10 with a headlamp nacelle.
