Singles / B40 kickstart ratchet Bush.

Does anyone know if the kickstart rachet Bush should end flush with the mainshaft splines. I have a Bush of the correct length but it sits a mm or so proud of the splines?

Singles / B40 head gaskets

Working on a B40 ss90. Need to fit a new head gasket. Have ordered a new lipped type but the hole location/sizes seem to be off. After "easing" the holes the main cylinder hold doesn't appear big enough to drop down over the cylinder lip.
Has anyone else had this problem?

Twins / Primary drive alignment

Bit of an oddity. Working on an A65 (appears to be 1969 cases). Normally would check clutch /crank sprocket and add shims to crank sprocket if needed. This one the crank sprocket is actually proud of the clutch. Not much but a few thousand.
Anyone  had this before? Could it be mismatched year parts iecrank/sprocket spacer

Bantam / D1 frame

I have been asked to enquire.
Anyone with a D1 is the frame top tube totally straight or does it have a slightly dip?
The frame in question has a slight dip in the top tube but no apparent corresponding obvious make/kinks anywhere else to suggest that the frame has been bent at anytime.

Bantam / convert D7 from wipac to standard coil ignition

I am working on a D7 with a wipac generator , 3 coils plus ignition coil. It has one light switch in the headlamp. It is very unpredictable to start. It has had a new internal igniton coil and i am struggling to get the timimg anywhere near so would like to convert to normal coil ignition.
Can someone tell me if i can convert it to run a normal coil under the seat etc.

Does anyone have a primary chain adjuster lying around that they dont want?
Doesn't have to be perfect, I just need it to try out an idea I have , as long as the main mounting plate is ok.

Singles / 46 B31 gearbox swap

Could anyone help me out with info regarding swapping from the early 46-48 gearbox to the later box.
Can it be done by just swapping to the later gearbox mounting plates and fitting the later box or is the easiest way to machine the mountings on the later gearbox and use the original mounting plates.
Any help would be appreciated or even just some links to useful info.
