Twins / Engine numbers

 I am currently restoring a Super Rocket and have recently had the crankcases vapour blasted. I now have very clear numbers on the crankcase and would like some information regarding these numbers........as follows
DA10 R 4689...HC    I know its an engine number and I believe a 1962, but does HC mean High Compression or what?
Very much appreciate some info..

Twins / Oil Pressure gauge

Hi.. I am currently rebuilding an A10 engine  (1961) and would like to fit an oil pressure gauge to the engine and also a remote oil filter..

1.     To fit a gauge I would obviously need to fit a sender unit! has anyone already done this? and where does the sender fit? will I need to drill and tap to accept the sender unit or is it possible to get a converter kit to fit into the braided oil hoses from the engine to tank...any advice would be helpful.
2. If I fit a remote oil filter fitting the actual unit is quite straight forward...I will find a location ....but where do the 2 hoses connect to ? is it again a connection into the existing two oil tank hoses?

I am currently trying to source a tachometer for my A10 twin...its a 1959 bike but has an 1962 engine. I have noticed on line tachos have  2-1, 3-1 or 4-1 ratios quoted. How can I establish what ratio I need for my engine so that I can purchase the correct Tacho and cable?.
The intention is to fit the tacho cable to the front crankcase point instead of the earlier version that required an 90deg drive from the right hand cover side (al la Goldie) etc
I am sure the answer is out there!

Twins / A10 Electronic Ignition

I am currently restoring an A10 1959 Super Rocket and I am getting contradictory opinions regarding Electronic ignition! What type can be recommended or perhaps I can get members advice. I intend to use the existing Dynamo and fit a belt conversion to increase the charging rate etc. and intend to discard the magneto and fit a replacement unit to suit electronic ignition. can I have advice on what success or not anybody has had with these kits. 3 or 4 suppliers I have looked at; all give different advice regarding coils, wiring, etc. etc.
