They do the job and dont pump acid gas over your bike. Also they eithe normally r work or dont work. No mystery electrical failures

Are you using the correct 3 bond. The standard one is melted by modern fuel allowing the crankcase to suck in air/oil.Rex caunt sells the correct version for 2 strokes.

You need to load it up a bit, just gently riding is as bad as letting it idle. Load it by making it work not slog in high gears.

Try 2 different dyes in the oil to be certain. I remember on a forum somewhere that they used foam draught excluder pretty sucessfully.

Yep 8 thou. I usually cut up a milk bottle into strips and place them around the rotor to give even clearance.

Build it, start it, ride it in a spirited manner for 20-30 mins so the engine isnt labouring . Go through all of the gears and let it work a bit shutting off periodically to load the rings up with back pressure.
Job done.

Put the bike on your  lift . Secure it with strap or get someone to hold it. Use a hook of some sort and pull the spring with a ratchet strap attatched to the ramp or round the back wheel.t

Whatever you use remember to dose them up inside with talcum powder first.
