I am in the process of restoring a B18 like yours, however I am missing the gear change lever and quadrant or gate.
Would you be good enough  to draw round yours on cardboard including any critical dimensions and send  the to me as templates to fabricate replacement parts. As they were only made in very low numbers the chance of finding any used parts is practically  non existant.
I will happily pay any costs incurred.
Kind regards
Mark

Just got the info I needed, the off set is 1/16 inch negative. That is with a stright edge across the wheel the rim of the 7" TLS brake is below the edge by said amount.

Having started restoring my 1936 B18 and trying to aquire the few missing parts.  I have removed the mudguards and cleaned the little bit of old paint off and all the rust, they now resemble lace curtains. Can any one recommend a supplier of replacement blanks for me to fit. They are 5 1/4" or 140mm in french wide and 1 1/2" deep or 38mm deep not a "C" profile more like a shallow "D" profile

Good evening,
Thank you to those BSA owners club members who went out of their way to support this show it was much appreciated by Alan.
It was a very successful day in fine weather. There will be another show next year on the May Spring Bank Holiday.

Bantam / Does it still exist?
05 May, 2023, 22:11:24
I would like to know if a Bsa Bantam still exists. It's registration number is JWX203 it was my mums first bike I have a picture of her on it in 1952/1953.
She was born in 1933 and it was her first bike, she can still remember all the registration numbers of all her bikes and cars. She has just celebrated her 90th birthday and is still driving. She has a clean licence but her old red card one tells a different story! She still has her Norton Dominator but cant start it any more, she has had it from new and last rode it 2 years ago. However a Honda 125 is no trouble except that it doesn't get out from under quickly enough for her and she thrashes it. And no she wont sell the Norton she wont even let me ride it either.

Good evening David,
I will happily pay you £20 as it is a good starting point if I have to make another. I am new to the club and have not got my membership pack as yet. Can you private message me and I will send payment by bank transfer or do you need my email address or telephone number.
Kind regards
Mark

I have a 1936 B18 I need a headlight glass and a pair of knee grips. Any advice as to where to buy them from would be helpful., I suspect the rubber knee  grips will be difficult. I also need a Gear leaver and quadrant. I can make these myself but would need a pattern
