Hi and thanks all  for your help i have had the engine running and to be fair  it sounds good and responds well to the throttle kicking the engine over was terrible  so after a bit of you tube  i self diagnosed  a new set of clutch  plates  and i think its done the trick, but  whilst  cleaning the primary cover discovered a crack in it where it looks like the bikes been down and the footrest has pushed into and case cracked it  so now am looking  for advice whether to repair or renew the cover and where to  do it so if any of you are in the know i am in need of help again    :D

thanks for that and i will consider getting that book ,but initially i was looking to chat to someone who i could ask for directions on  the more obscure question you wouldn't find  in that book like how to recommission my B25 witch was rebuilt twenty years ago ridden very little, then put in dry storage for a further ten years then i bought the bike  not  seized  and  it seems every thing is in good order  .needs a battery and new fuel and from what i have read it is wet sumping
