Singles / DVLA New owner
« on: 08 March, 2018, 09:45:49 »
Carrying on from last post upon reviewing the images the Dvla have said that the  results for 1959 M21 WLA228 were not conclusive .(as someone else is already using the Registration number and have taxed there vehicle)   andthe Dvla  would like me to contact Steve Foden ,Dave Smith, of BSAOC  Bebington  Wirral.
Please can anybody tell me  how to proceed as  they have my log book and this started  in December ,
Many thanks

I acquired a 1959 M21 last December and snt of the log book for a change of owner ,six weeks later nothing ,so i emailed them ,automatic reply . Early January phoned them :don't worry its normal they said .
Mid Jan just contacting previous owner ,He is probably dead i said this bike has been in storage in bits for 20 odd years and last owner was in Birmingham in the 1970 .Dont worry they said .Phoned again in early Feb ,:Its under investigation they said , Why i said , somebody has taxed  it ? .
We both have the same Reg .
So after sending pictures of rebuild etc  they are now going to decide who has the Reg WLN228 .
