Hi  all
I have posted this message before but I think it got lost in the system somewhere?
I,m trying to restore my 1963 A65 royal star but I,m getting confusing ideas on the fue tank fixng, one idea as suggested by Julian (who is invariably correct) is shown in the diagrams he sent but I have seen for sale large rubber fixings as used in the c15 but which one is correct?
Help please

Hi all
Thanks to Bess and Julian for their information!
Now I need some clarification if possible, whilst rebuilding my 1963 A65 royal star, I am puzzled as to the fuel tank fixing I find that there are two methods of fixing the tank one as shown in the diagrams posted by Julian and a second way of fixing the tank is with the use of a large rubber bung in tne centre (as in the C15) I am probably mistaken in this but any help would be appreciated.
Yours Chris

Can anyone tell me how the fuel tank is fitted onto my 1963 A65 royal Star, also if possible can anyone tell me what length the bolt should be, so far I have found one on the internet at just over 2.5 inches.
Cheers Chris
