THIS A10 PLUNGER FRAME / ROCKET ENGINE (SWINGARM) Project took me over a year to do!
The frame was from a 1951/52 plunger a7, and the engine/box was from a 56 rocket.
I was told buy a good few people that this couldnt be done?...well im an Skilled engineer who looks outside the box..and had help from my BSA guru mate charlie, and this was the end result..quite pleased as you can imagine.
Theres a good old saying,....'NEVER SAY NEVER' LOL.

Hi Maximus,
An interesting project. Did you just rely on the engine mountings for frame rigidity or did you fabricate another tube for the rear of the engine?
Here are a couple of interesting hybrids. The rigid A10 is called the Dark Star. The A65 engined one did not have a name.
Both are from Germany.
Dave.
