I am restoring a tank from a B33 and need the acrylic tank badges.

I have seen adverts for the chaps in India, who sell some that are stated as being correct for the C15 and A10, but despite a mail from me they have not been able to tell me the sizes.

The ones I need are 5" in length.

Please, could anyone confirm how long the badges that fit C15s or A10s are?

Sorry!!!   Not B33 but M33.

Just bumping this message up - please is anyone willing to hold a ruler against their C15 or A10 tank badges and let me know whether or not they are 5"?

AFAIK, the M33 acrylic tank badges are 3 1/4" diameter (part no. 65-8220). There are also clips to fasten them to a tab on the tank (42-8020) plus 5BA screws and nuts to fasten the badges to the clips (Screws 65-8317 and Nuts 42-8034) HTH

Thanks Ian - Mine are not round, they are pear shaped (export model?) per the pic. Thank you for taking the trouble with the part numbers.

However... if anyone could measure their C15s or A10s I'd be eternally grateful!!

Those badges in the pic look to be the 1968 onwards cast badges which weren't fitted to C15's or A10's from the Factory. Probably been tin bashed by a P.O. to give the bike a more contemporary look. Dimensions for cast badge below..

Many thanks again - good of you to take the trouble to offer the pic complete with dimensions.

Here's the conundrum - the recesses on the tank are 5" long, so those 6 1/2" cast ones aren't going to work.

However, I am able to buy C15 / A10 ones which might fit..... I just need to know whether C15 / A10 ones are 5"?

I managed to dig out my (what I believe to be) genuine A10 tank. The tank badge recesses are as on the pics, so if yours are same dimensions then you should be ok.

Ian that is fabulous - you have even captured the position of the mounting bolt, which helps me further.
