Derusting a petrol tank

I am trying to post some pics of derusting a petrol tank with the battery charger method. Being a bear of very small brain anything is likely.

That didn't work then try agen. New PC cant get the size right. Oh Dear!!!!!!!!!! I'll go back to bed until the grandchildren come out of school then get one of them to do it.

Hi Mike,

To resize a photo I normally right click on the photo then scroll down to open with then select paint, when paint opens in the top left corner select resize then change the 100%to say 25% then rename & save your file to a new folder or folder of your choice you should then be able to post the pictures.

Works for me.

Can you remind me, is it bicarb that you use in the solution?
I did the interior using a folded coathanger as the cathode. Managed to remove rust with no risk of damage to new chrome and paint,

Hi Dean.

No its washing soda chrystals. or called Kitchen Soda.

Got this lot at the Coop about 500gm £1.20 or so. Just a big handful in water. Never considered actual water quantity.
