a65 selector forks.
« on: 11 June, 2017, 20:27:16 »
Hi, Just overhauling my 1965 a65 gearbox and found the selector forks are the same.My question is should they be the same as
the part numbers are different, layshaft 683160, Mainshaft 683158. If so that could be why Iam having gearchange problems.
Thanks for any help, John.

Below from the 1962-1965 workshop manual showing how the selectors should appear.

The yellow sheet is from the US importers detailing possible gearchanging problems. It was issued in 1964.
