Holds approx 30 spanners etc. and a few spares.
My seat is now just rested in place on the two studs. secure when riding, just lift off for access.

Will it still move carrying all that weight? I prefer to do my maintenence in the workshop. I carry an RAC card and mobile phone for emergencies

I had to check the calender to see if it was 1st April  ???
Please tell me that you're not relying on gravity to hold the seat in place, Mick.

The box is Fiberglas, moulded in place over tape masking. The seat engages its bolts at the back, without nuts.
No danger of coming off on the road, unless you are throw of the saddle on a bump.

I dont rely on phoning for help. i want to fix all problems myself, that's part of the fun!
I remember , about 50 years ago, I was riding back to RAF camp and had a rear wheel puncture. at night.
I repaired it by the road. To get the rear chain back in the enclosed case, i picked a long twig from the bushes.

When you come back down the spanners are just in the correct place for your nuts.  :-[

An insecure seat is an MOT failure as well as extremely dangerous

Today I hit a bump in the road and was throw up, off the seat.
The seat stayed secure.(and so did my nuts)
