Head light switch for a 1971 A65 L
« on: 04 November, 2017, 11:13:16 »
I need to replace my headlight switch but can't find any available in the UK. This is the rotary switch in the headlamp shell. Does any body have any suggestion of either a source for the original or a substitute switch? I am looking at toggle switches (which I think look better) but all of the 10 amp type I have looked at are a very tight fit inside the head lamp shell.

Hi,
If Caulkys' suggestion doesn't work out, try Paul Goff:

Thanks for the help on this but for the record neither of the recommended suppliers has that part or knows when it will be available. There does seem to be some stock in the US but they are $50 ish and that would be upped by post and packing and from experience import tax.
Cheers

If not try Bantam John 01246 290021

An update on this thanks to all for advice. I have now found that Bantam John does indeed have a stock of these parts if anybody else is interested.
Thanks again
